Even though I am a teacher, I will never stop learning. I will always strive to be a better version of myself, for my students. I decided that I wanted to be a teacher when I started coaching a soccer team during my junior year of high school. I was so inspired by the kids' passion and drive to be better. I connected with the kids and felt responsible for giving them the tools they needed to become better athletes. I noticed that soccer practice was also a human development course, and this really intrigued me. These kids were practicing real-life skills in real-life situations and we, as coaches, had to guide and cheer them on. It was after this fond experience that I knew I wanted to be a teacher who guides young children.
